Ivan Developer ("we", "us", or "our") built the Melodio Music Player application (the "App") as a free app. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
In summary: Melodio Music Player is an offline music player. We do not collect any personally identifiable information. The App transmits only anonymous technical data (such as a device identifier, device model, and app version) to our server for basic functionality. All your music, playlists, and preferences remain on your device.
We want to be clear about what we do not do:

The App requests the following permissions to provide its features. All permissions are used strictly for the stated purposes:

| Wi-Fi / Network | Establish local Wi-Fi connections for device-to-device file transfer. |
| Nearby Devices | Discover nearby devices for the file transfer feature (Android 13+). |
| System Settings | Set an audio file as your device ringtone (only when you choose this option). |
| Internet | Communicate with our backend service, retrieve documents, and submit feedback. |
All permissions are optional in the sense that the App will still function for basic music playback even if certain permissions are denied. Features requiring denied permissions will simply be unavailable.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not embed any third-party SDKs that collect user data.
Since all user data is stored locally on your device, data security is primarily managed by your device's built-in security features (screen lock, encryption, etc.). Network communications with our backend service are conducted over HTTPS to ensure data is encrypted in transit.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since we do not collect personal data from any users, this policy inherently protects children's privacy.
Since we do not collect personal data, your privacy is protected by design. You can:
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation, including the right to access, rectify, erase, and port your data. Since we do not collect personal data, these rights are inherently satisfied.
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act grants you the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. Since we do not collect or sell personal information, no additional action is required.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
